Privacy
Many people arrive at a site like this in a stressful season of life. Our privacy position is built for that reader, and it is short because there is genuinely little to disclose.
Reading this site
- No third-party trackers, pixels or beacons. Pages on this site make no requests to any third-party service: no analytics tags, no social widgets, no advertising networks, no content delivery networks. Fonts and images are served from this site itself.
- No advertising profiles. When advertising appears here it is served as plain, labelled content from this site; it does not watch you.
- No accounts, no cookies for reading. You can read everything without logging in, and reading sets no tracking cookies.
- Our web host necessarily processes standard connection information (such as IP addresses) to deliver pages and protect against abuse; we do not use it to identify readers.
If you send us something
- Tip and correction forms work with name and email optional. What you submit is used to look into the matter you raised, and for nothing else. We treat the identity of people who contact us about their workplace with particular care.
- Uploaded files are stored privately, never published or linked, and are automatically deleted after 30 days.
- Advertising enquiries ask for business contact details because they are a business conversation; those details are used to respond and for nothing else.
- We do not sell, rent or share any submitted information with third parties.
